Upon returning from her fellowship at the Children`s Hospital @ Westmead , Sydney in 2010 she served at Hospital Selayang, a tertiary hospital in Kuala Lumpur while maintaining regular outreach service to Hospital Ipoh in Perak. Known for her passion to teach, she re-established the paediatric ophthalmology unit in HUKM and was very much involved in training young ophthalmologists during her years in the public service. Dr Azura Ramlee is currently a consultant Paediatric ophthalmologist at Prince Court Medical Centre and ISEC Kuala Lumpur. Her area of interest includes cataract, strabismus and myopia.
