Daisy Godts is senior orthoptist at Antwerp University Hospital, Ophthalmology Department and head of the Orthoptic Department. Her clinical practice focuses on diagnosis and nonsurgical management of complex-strabismus, neuro-orthoptics, thyroid eye disease, and amblyopia treatment in congenital cataract children She directed many courses at national meetings and delivered numerous national and international presentations as an invited speaker She published several articles in national and international journals She was the former president of the Belgian Orthoptic Association, is the president of International Cooperation in the International Orthoptic Association (IOA) and was the organizer of the IOA Congress in Antwerp in 2008
