Elena Bitrian M.D., M.S., is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, who specializes in adult and pediatric glaucoma surgery. She is one of the editors of the textbook Surgical Techniques in Childhood Glaucoma and the compendium on Childhood Glaucoma. Dr. Bitrian is also the Director of Education for the Balkan International Pediatric Glaucoma Center and the Residency Associate Program Director for Surgical Competency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.
