Florence M. Manurung MD is a pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus consultant at JEC Eye Hospitals & Clinics. She is also one of the POS doctors at JEC`s Children Eye & Squint Clinic (CES Clinic) in Kedoya, a comprehensive eye care center for babies, children and children with special needs. In order to develop her abilities and knowledge, she took up a fellowship in Pediatric and Strabismus Ophthalmology at Aditya Joyt Eye Hospital and Jyotirmay Eye Clinic, Mumbai, India and underwent a short-term fellowship program in the management of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and Pediatric Retinal Disease in L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India. She presented at various national and international meetings, especially regarding research on ROP. Her main clinical areas include ROP and Pediatric Retinal Disorders, Congenital glaucoma, Congenital cataracts, Retinoblastoma, Squint, and Low Vision. She is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus [AAPOS], World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus [WSPOS] and Asia Pacific Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology Society [APSPOS].
