Dr. Sheth has done his basic medical training from B.Y.L Nair Hospital, Mumbai following which he completed his post graduate training in Ophthalmology from the prestigious L V Prasad Eye Institute, India. His keen interest in Pediatric eye care, made him purse fellowship in Pediatric and neuro-ophthalmology at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India. Currently, he leads the Pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and Neuro- ophthalmology services at Shantilal Shanghvi Eye Institute, Mumbai. Prior to joining SSEI, he worked as faculty ophthalmologist at Children’s Eye Care Center, L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad for four years. His majority of interest lies in management of complex strabismus, primary optic nerve diseases and neuroradiology. He is a passionate teacher and trained many long-term fellows during his tenure at LVPEI. He has co-authored 3 book chapters and has 19 PubMed indexed publications to his credit in peer reviewed Indian and International Journals in the field of complex strabismus and neuro ophthalmology. He has presented numerous papers in National and International conferences and won two national awards.
He believes in excellent and compassionate care for all, combing his clinical skills with modern technological advances for children’s eye care.
