Former Kuok Foundation and ASEAN scholar and recipient of APAO prevention of blindness award and AAO LDP class of 2007, Dr Wong co founded ISEC and is the CEO of ISEC Healthcare Ltd. He was residency trained in NUH/SNEC Singapore, and later underwent VR fellowships in Melbourne (Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital) and Boston (Beetham Eye Institute, Joslin Diabetes Centre). Regularly invited to speak, Dr Wong had presented or moderated more than 220 presentations with special interests in retinal and refractive cataract surgery. Despite his busy administrative and speaking engagements, Dr Wong is still a passionate clinician and had performed in excess of 8000 VR surgeries todate.
