Dr. Nina Tahhan is the Executive Director of the International Myopia Institute. She is also a faculty member at the School of Optometry and Vision Science, UNSW, Sydney and a member of the Vision Loss Expert Group. Dr. Tahhan is a clinician and researcher who holds a PhD and a Masters in Public Health. She has over 20 years of experience conducting clinical and public health research activities and providing clinical eye care to underserviced communities. Her research areas have included orthokeratology, myopia control, soft contact lens performance and impact on ocular physiology, quality of life, ophthalmic epidemiology, and health economics.
