Dr. Nurul Farhana Abu Bakar obtained her Bachelor of Optometry degree from University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Master, and PhD from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Currently, she served at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. She has been appointed as a committee member of MOH National Prevention of Blindness and MOH Orthoptics, Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy and Founding Fellow of Optometry Academy Malaysia. She is actively involved in research and published in many journals. She has presented at many local and international conferences. She also received several awards related to her research works. Her research interests are paediatric optometry and public health optometry.
