Rutika Dodeja

Rutika is a Paediatric Ophthalmologist at Alder Hey Children`s Hospital and the Countess of Chester Hospital since 2023. She trained at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India before undertaking 3 fellowships in Paediatric Ophthalmology. The first was with the Group of Paediatric Ophthalmologists and Strabismologists (GPOS) in Mumbai, followed by a fellowship in Liverpool and a senior fellowship in Manchester. She has a post graduate certificate in Medical Leadership. Rutika has special interests in paediatric uveitis, retinopathy of prematurity and complex strabismus. She is passionate about Leadership and Management and has an interest in waiting list management and patient pathway optimisation.
