The author over 20 years clinical experience in corneal disease and uveitis, scleritis and anterior segment inflammation and has been part of one the most renowned ophthalmology institutes in India. She has to her credit over 200 publications in peer-reviewed international ophthalmology journals. She is an acclaimed speaker and has over 300 talks at various national forums and regularly presents scientific papers at international ophthalmology meetings. As an acknowledgement of her achievements, she was awarded the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). She has also won other awards such as the award for the best paper in Cataract, in the AIOC meeting at 2012 and the best paper for Uveitis in the AIOC meeting at 2019, best paper, USI meeting 2019, best poster at the IOIS meeting in 2019 IRISI gold medal etc.
