Dr Tara George currently practices as a consultant ophthalmologist at Sunway Medical Centre. She did her subspeciality training as a Fellow in Medical Retina and Uveitis at the Moorfields Eye Hospital London and Hospital Selayang Ministry of Health Malaysia and was certified as a Medical Retina Subspecialist by the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2007.
Her expertise lies in the management of ocular inflammatory diseases, uveitis and infections. She works closely with other ophthalmologists, infectious disease specialists and rheumatologists both here in Malaysia and overseas to deliver the best visual outcome to patients with the use of latest medications. Her interest is in the diagnosis and management of ocular inflammatory diseases, age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other macular diseases.
