Dr. Wai-Ching Lam is the Clinical Professor of University of British Columbia, and the Head and Medical Director of the Ophthalmology Department, Vancouver General Hospital, and the University of British Columbia Hospital. Dr. Lam is a vitreo-retinal surgeon in adult and pediatric retinal diseases. He received the Senior Achievement Award from the Asian Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, and Achievement Award from American Academy of Ophthalmology and, Fellow and the Senior Honor Award from the American Society of Retinal Specialists. He is interested in medical education, and has published over 116 peer-reviewed articles, and 7 book chapters
